Neil I. Pomerantz

Neil is a co-founder of the firm and partner in its Denver office.  His practice concentrates in state and local tax controversy and transactional matters for businesses and individuals.  Neil counsels clients across a wide range of industries, including cable, telecommunications, oil and gas, software and computer services, construction, manufacturing, and retail sales.  Neil has substantial experience in both trial and appellate advocacy and has achieved successful outcomes for clients in the administrative tribunals and courts of numerous states.

Neil participates actively in the broader state and local tax community.  He lectures frequently on developing tax issues, advises industry groups on matters of concern, and often assists in the drafting of tax legislation.  Neil consistently has been recognized by Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers in the field of tax law.  Prior to co-founding the firm, Neil was a partner in the international law firm Morrison & Foerster LLP.
